I think I've been lost in action! Last time I posted was over a year ago! Yikes!
Well, once again, thank you to everyone for your wonderful comments and thanks for all the favorites. I'm hoping to get back on here a little more again - back into the swing of things. Life has been pretty hectic, but I always need to remember to take time for art.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to get onto this site for a while - things have been very busy, and of course, this got pushed to the back burner.
I just want to take this time to thank all of those who added my artwork to their favorites. There were so many when I finally signed back on here, I just don't have the time to go through them all - but I really appreciate everyone's support, and I'm looking forward to being back on here a little more frequently (hopefully).

Well, now that I've been re-dabbling in acrylic painting I think I've found my own unique style ... not that I didn't have one before, but this style is new to me, and comes very naturally, so I'll stick with it.  My hubby explains it as part realistic, part cartoony, part paint by numberish feel - and he likes it, so I guess his opinion counts - LOL.
I'm very happy with the way the last few paintings have turned out, especially "Me and My Ball".  I am more than pleased to offer acrylics now to my clients through my pet portrait website. My fingers are crossed that they will be as well received as my drawings.
I hope to do a lot more paintings with the image on a black background. I love the contrast I can get with it, and the "wow" factor is great. I will upload a painting of a pepper that I did for our newly painted kitchen. Its another image on black ... looks good hanging up too - I painted it to match our water cooler cover. Perhaps I have too much time on my hands? LOL!!!

Yup, have to say that I'm am really enjoying this site. I absolutely love seeing so much artwork, and there are some very, very talented people on here. It's nice to have a community like this, and its great to have a place to display. The people that I have met so far have been GREAT!! So friendly, encouraging and very talented themselves.
Hopefully I'll have some more work to post in the next few weeks!

Well, I've had this account for 2 years, and haven't done a thing with it. So, I thought, todays the day! Now, here I am.
Just a little introduction:
I have been drawing as long as I can remember, and am basically self taught. I attended college for graphic design, and through the course I completed a few illustration classes which helped me to hone my skills and also introduced me to airbrush, gouache, watercolour pencils, pen and ink and much more. I have also attened formal oil painting classes in the past. I do offer pet portraits and animal art to my clients, and enjoy every minute of it. My specialties are dogs of any kind. Not so good at people, but animals is a different story! I can and will create any kind of animal piece.
